Darren Mahoney Graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1999 and has built a family and criminal defence law practice in Calgary over the last decade.

Prior to working as a criminal defence and family lawyer, Mr. Mahoney worked for ten years as a Crown prosecutor for both the Federal Government and the Government of Alberta.  As a Federal Crown prosecutor he worked on several high profile Drug Prosecutions and broadened his expertise in areas such as Drug Trafficking, Criminal Procedure and wiretap law.

As a Provincial Crown prosecutor Mr. Mahoney prosecuted a diverse array of offenses including Murder, Manslaughter, Aggravated Assault, Impaired Driving Causing Death, Dangerous Driving, Sexual Assault, Robbery, and numerous other violent, property, and driving offences.
